Creating Pronoun Badges at Rochdale in Rainbows: My Experience as a Workshop Facilitator
I recently had the pleasure of running a pronoun badge-making activity at Rochdale in Rainbows – Pride in the Park, a fantastic celebration of Pride organised by Yourtrust and Touchstones.
The activity I ran allowed participants to create a badge with their pronouns. Pronouns are an important part of gender identity and expressing them can be empowering and affirming. By creating their badges, participants were able to not only express their pronouns but also show support for the LGBTQ+ community.
It was a lovely event with a great turnout. It was heart-warming to see people of all ages coming together to celebrate and show support for the LGBTQ+ community. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, love, and acceptance.
As someone who is passionate about promoting inclusivity and celebrating diversity, I was honoured to be part of this event. Seeing people proudly wearing their pronoun badges was a powerful reminder that small actions can make a big impact.
