Promoting Creative Health: My Role as Live Well Make Art (LWMA) Social Media Coordinator
As the Social Media Coordinator for Live Well Make Art (LWMA), I’ve had the opportunity to blend my IT skills with my passion for promoting creative health across Greater Manchester. LWMA is an informal network dedicated to integrating creativity into our everyday lives to improve health and wellbeing and reduce societal and health inequalities.
Managing Digital Presence
In my role, I manage LWMA’s digital presence across various platforms. This includes handling updates and sharing content on our Twitter page, where I engage with our community by sharing relevant news, events, and opportunities. I also create and distribute newsletters using Mailchimp, ensuring our members stay informed about the latest developments and activities within the network.
Website Maintenance and Content Management
Keeping the LWMA website consistently updated is another key aspect of my role. I regularly post new information, event details, and blog posts, ensuring that our website remains a dynamic and up-to-date resource for our members. By managing email contacts and updating content, I help foster an online space where our community can easily access and share valuable information.
Promoting Creative Health in Greater Manchester
LWMA is a network of individuals and organizations working across the arts, heritage, health, care, voluntary, and education sectors. We all share the belief that creative activities can significantly improve health and wellbeing. Our members collaborate to create communities where creativity is an integral part of daily life and a vital component of health and social care systems.
Why Creative Health Matters
There has never been a more crucial time to promote the importance of culture and creativity in living happy and healthy lives. At LWMA, we are committed to building a healthy Greater Manchester, where everyone can enjoy and benefit from arts and creative activities. Through our newsletters, social media, and website, we aim to share knowledge, information, and best practices that can help our members make a positive impact in their communities.
