As part of Darnhill Festival Day, I facilitated a digital animation workshop the activity encouraged participants to design their own animal characters, inspired by endangered species or imagined creatures, and envision them finding a safe home in Darnhill.
Using traditional art materials, families created animal designs. Each piece was then photographed, digitally edited to remove backgrounds, and animated using software that added movement and personality to the characters. The final animation featured photographs of Darnhill as the backdrop, creating a visual story of animals settling into the local landscape.
Participants received a QR code linking to the finished animation, allowing them to revisit their design
