Experience

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Welcome to Bailey Creates — a space that brings together my artwork, creative practice and experience in community arts.

I’m Bailey, a visual artist, creative facilitator and Project Coordinator based in Greater Manchester, UK. My work is shaped by lived experience, a love of creativity and a belief that art can help us express ourselves, connect with others and feel a little less alone.

Community Art

I coordinate visual arts projects with communities and collaborate with artists, organisations and community groups to create opportunities for people to get involved in creativity.

Creative Learning

I develop creative workshops that connect exhibitions and historical themes with the school curriculum, helping children and young people explore ideas through art and hands-on activities.

Art for Wellbeing

Mental health and wellbeing are important parts of both my personal and creative life. I’m interested in how art can help us explore our feelings, express things that are sometimes difficult to put into words and find moments of comfort or connection.

MY ART SHOP

I specialise in digital illustration, creating artwork inspired by mental health, self-care, identity and the ups and downs of everyday life. I also enjoy exploring other creative mediums, including embroidery, collage, painting and printmaking.

Through my shop, I share artwork and products designed to offer comfort, encouragement and a sense of connection. I hope you find something that resonates with you or reminds you that you’re not alone in how you feel.

BLOG AND CREATIVE PROJECTS

A look behind the scenes at the projects, workshops and creative experiences I’ve been part of.

Here, I share stories and insights from my work in community arts, creative learning and project coordination. From projects I’ve managed and creative sessions I’ve delivered to educational resources and gallery activities I’ve developed, this is a space to explore the ideas, people and processes behind the work.

MY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bringing creative ideas to life involves more than making art. My work in community arts has given me experience in project coordination, partnership development, safeguarding, fundraising and reporting.
