Promoting Kindness Through Art: Creating an Activity Booklet for World Kindness Day
About the project
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to create an art activities booklet for World Kindness Day in collaboration with Cartwheel Arts. The booklet was distributed in person at Heywood Library and made available online to inspire children to explore their creativity while learning about the importance of kindness.
The art activities booklet was designed to be both fun and educational, with a variety of activities that encouraged children to think about what kindness means to them and how they can be kind to others.
Partnering with Heywood Library was a great way to distribute the activity packs, as it provided a central location for families to pick up a copy. We also made the downloadable version of the pack available online so that families who were unable to visit the library could still access the activities and participate in the celebration of World Kindness Day.
Creating an art activities booklet for World Kindness Day was a rewarding experience that allowed me to use my design skills to promote a positive message. It was heartening to see the positive response from families and children, and I hope that the message of kindness continues to inspire positive change in our communities.
